What is Polypropylene Welding?

Polypropylene welding is a controlled thermal fusion process where both the base material and a compatible PP welding rod are heated and bonded together. As the materials soften, they intermix and solidify into a single continuous structure once cooled.

Unlike gluing plastics together, the joint is not an attachment — it becomes part of the material itself. This creates:
