The nations’ favourite retailer tasked us to solve a 'weighty' issue for them

The nations’ favourite retailer tasked us to solve a weighty issue for them. Our innovative solution helped them slim down – and save money. Previously M&S had used an MDF base with an acrylic top for their catwalk style lightboxes. These were heavy, costly and not very environmentally friendly.  Our innovative solution replaced the heavy wood with a lightweight recycled solution. Delivered on time and budget, the lightbox was rolled out as the ‘Limited Light Box’ into the M&S re-fit programme and has been included in their standard store format. In total over 1300 units were produced at our West Bromwich base. Our design met the criteria of Marks and Spencer’s Plan A sustainability strategy and the reduced the weight of the product reduced H&S concerns and lowered transport costs. Our approach and solution meant we have since been asked to develop further innovative display solutions for Marks and Spencer including an Innovative lightweight divider fins.
