High Quality Components for Innovative Business Handset

We were delighted to get the call to be involved in the manufacture of the next generation phone for one of the leading names in business communications. The HiHi2 is packed with innovative features required for modern business communications – and we used some of our innovative kit to manufacture essential components for the smart handset. The initial order has already seen us manufacture 30,000 parts and that’s just the beginning.  The success of the HiHi2 and our ability to manufacture high quality components cost-effectively will eventually see 100,000s of these components produced at our West Bromwich-base. For the project we manufactured

• Handset covers – utilising our sector-leading high quality high speed digital printers we were able to print direct to hard coated polycarbonate and then precision cut the covers on Zund G3 cutting system
• Handset inlay – brushed aluminium silver vinyl is precision profiled and placed behind the handset cover to create the distinct HiHi silver logo
• Rear vinyls – carbon fibre vinyl is digitally printed and then precision knifed on our vinyl cutters.

To date we have used over 2500m² of material sourced from UK suppliers. So impressed were we with the quality of the product that use the handsets at our West Bromwich base and have ordered the HiHi2 handsets as an upgrade at our Mid West Display’s Shrewsbury office. Our ongoing investment in the latest technology combined with 50 years manufacturing excellence means we are able to develop cost-effective innovative components for organisations such as OEMs as well as direct with brands and manufacturers.
